Perhaps you have worked with a professional before and you may be asking yourself, "What does my accountant need from me? How much will this cost?" The answer is simple: Start with an initial consultation.  The steps below outline a typical onboarding and engagement process:

 

  1. Participate in an initial consultation to understand business needs. Client then fills out Intake form

  2. Client invites accountant to their firm's books

  3. Accountant performs diagnostic review and notes the current state of books

  4. Accountant then sends engagement letter disclosing scope and pricing of services

  5. Client provides documents needed to perform work at accountant's request
