QuickBooks Online Mobile App

If you use QuickBooks Online, I highly recommend downloading and using the mobile app. While you don’t have the full functionality of using QBO on a laptop or desktop, there are two great reasons to use the app:

• Mileage Tracking: If you run a business where you frequently commute from one job site to another, you can use the mileage tracking function of the app to track business miles.

• Receipt capture: One of the most important things a business owner needs to do is to track receipts. With the app, you can use the camera function to take pictures of receipts. After a few minutes, the app “scans” the receipt to pull information such as dollar amount spent and account category but make sure to review the information prior to converting the receipt to an expense.
